KJW KP-07 MEU Pistol CO2

Posted in on 1 Jan 2013 by

There are a thousand variants of the M1911 pistol, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. But, king among them all, is the MEUSOC pistol. The MEUSOC pistol, known in shorthand as the MEU pistol, is a single stack .45ACP pistol with upgrades that make it a potent sidearm in the hands of a modern Marine.

The airsoft version, known as a KP-07, faithfully replicates the MEUSOC pistol.

The first change comes in a dovetail for the front sight, and a cutout for the rear sight. Compared to the USGI M1911, the sights on this KP-07 pistol are adjustable, and easily aimed, being based off the M1911 Novak Steel sights. The KP-07 grip is wrapped in an imitation Hogue Rubber Grip, reducing felt recoil and improving the ergonomics of the grip. An extended beavertail and ring hammer prevent slide bite, and the ambidextrous safeties are enlarged for ultimate control. A dust cover rail on the KP-07 allows one to mount lights or lasers. Lastly, the trigger of the KP-07, as light and sharp as it is, can be adjusted for overtravel – when it goes off, choose how much further you want the trigger to go. All of these changes ensure that this pistol is effective as can be.

Compatable with all KJ and TM parts for M1911, the KP-07 MEU is our most popular pistol. It will fit in all 1911 holsters that are designed a railed M1911. If you’re looking for the best of the best – look no further than the KP-07.

KJW M1911A1 CO2 Pistol

Posted in on 23 Nov 2013 by

The M1911 is the quintessential semi-automatic pistol. Every pistol produced in the last century can trace its lineage back to Browning’s original patents for the Model 1911 pistol. Up against competitors such as the P08 Luger and a Savage Arms prototype, it blew army testers away with its reliability, ergonomics, and safety mechanisms. A century later, thousands of variants exist, but none are quite as prolific as the M1911A1.

The M1911A1 was released in 1926 with modifications, such as a curved backstrap, shortened hammer, and recessed frame for trigger access. It has been carried in battlefields from Vietnam to Germany to Japan and everywhere in between. With a single stack magazine, the airsoft version can carry up to 14 rounds in a slim, easy to use grip. The grip safety compliments the physical safety, ensuring the gun will only go off when the trigger is pulled. Speaking of the trigger, the trigger on the M1911A1 sets the standard for all other pistols. It is short, light, and sharp – making this a very accurate shooter.

This gun will be compatable with M1911 holsters, and can be used either with CO2 or Green Gas magazines. CO2 magazines are more powerful, and one comes with the gun. Green Gas magazines are closest to the actual magazine’s design, and will lower velocity compared to the CO2 magazines.

The M9 pistol has served the US Military and countless other organizations well for decades, but it is not without its detractors. As a full metal, double stack 9mm pistol, the M9 by its nature will have a larger grip than most other pistols on the market – but the grip is even bigger than it needs to be. This has many users unable to reach the trigger, and those who can reach the trigger report discomfort and frustration trying to make the gun shoot well.

Enter the 92FS Vertec pistol, more commonly known as the M9 Vertec in Airsoft circles. The M9 Vertec incorporates Beretta’s slimmest grip to improve ergonomics and trigger reach by straightening out the backstrap of the M9, resulting in a grip that also possesses an angle not unlike the M1911, which pioneered the ideal grip angle for pistols. The M9 Vertec also comes with a dust cover mounted rail, allowing for accessories, such as a laser or flashlight, to be mounted.

Despite all these changes, the M9 Vertec will still fit into regular M9/92 holsters, and will accept all M9 magazines from KJW. KJW’s build quality is excellent, showing up in areas such as finish and trigger pull. The M9 Vertec possesses a two-stage trigger in single action mode, and a smooth double action pull when the hammer is down. Unlike the Tokyo Marui M9 this gun was based off, the KJW M9 Vertec comes with a hopup mechanism to extend range.

Please note that this gun comes with a CO2 magazine, per Canadian Firearm Regulations. This gun, in line with the majority of airsoft M9/92 pistols, does not feature a decocker. Please use caution when firing this gun, and please abide by all laws as they relate to airsoft. For further information, please contact us.
